Matthew Wearden is an independent AI governance researcher, specialising in corporate governance. He has multiple years of experience working in corporate governance and risk management, as well as designing operational processes. He graduated from St. Catharine’s College, University of Cambridge in 2020 with a BA in Mathematics.

Outside of his research, Matthew performs as a jazz vocalist and saxophonist and enjoys swing dancing.
